Fabrication & Installation Process

Our comprehensive process ensures the highest quality for every Granite installation:

Client Consultation & Material Selection
  • The client chooses the specific stone type (e.g., Granite).
  • The team reviews color movement, veining direction, and slab size.
  • Key details are discussed, including edge profiles, sink types, backsplashes, and seam placement.
  • Templating is performed on-site once cabinets are installed and leveled.
  • Measurements cover sink and cooktop cutouts, overhangs, appliance clearances, and seam placement.
  • Slabs are inspected for any fissures or defects.
  • Templates are physically placed on the slab to align vein direction for aesthetics and position seams for both strength and appearance.
  • Slabs are cut using a CNC bridge saw and water-cooled diamond blades.
  • Pieces are cut oversized to allow for fine shaping later in the process.
  • Edges are refined by hand.
  • Common profiles include Eased, Beveled, Bullnose, and Ogee.
  • Inside corners are reinforced if the project requires it.
  • All pieces are dry-fitted in the shop
  • The team checks for seam alignment, edge consistency, cutout accuracy, and structural integrity
  • Countertops are secured with A-frames for safe transport
  • The jobsite is inspected to ensure cabinets are level, plumbing is disconnected by the customer, and access paths are clear
  • As a natural stone, granite is sealed using a penetrating sealer
  • The sealer is applied evenly, and cure time is observed before the stone is transported
  • Countertops are dry-set and leveled on the cabinets
  • Seams are glued using color-matched epoxy
  • Undermount sinks are epoxied and clipped into place
  • Seams are razor-leveled and polished for a smooth finish.
  • Sink edges are cleaned and finished.
  • A final inspection is conducted with the client to ensure satisfaction.
